The Department of Finance oversees several degree programs at several levels. For instance, they offer an undergraduate concentration in Financial Analysis for the Business Administration BS degree, for which the curriculum is designed to build skills in finance. With this concentration, students are encouraged to gain hands-on experience in finance through internships.[1]

The Full-Time MBA program also offers a concentration in Finance, which enables students to prepare for managerial careers in financial management across various industries. The MBA finance option involves skills needed to solve complex financial problems faced by organizations. Courses cover advanced topics in corporate finance, investment strategies, and financial strategy.[2]

Additionally, the School of Management offers a specialized Finance MS degree in which students can pursue various tracks, between Financial Risk Management Track, Financial Risk Management/Fintech Track, Quantitative Finance Track, and Quantitative Finance/Fintech Track.[3] Students study the policies and techniques involved in financial decision-making for institutions like pension funds, corporations, banks, and securities firms. The curriculum includes financial modeling, risk management, and global market analysis, which allows for a deep dive into finance beyond the general MBA level.

Furthermore, the Management PhD program offers a concentration in Finance at the doctoral level, where students focus on research in areas such as capital market efficiency, asset pricing, portfolio management, market microstructure, corporate finance topics, and the operation of financial institutions.[4]
