UB's South Campus is the university's original campus. It spans 153-acres in Buffalo, N.Y. and its oldest buildings were constructed in the 1920s.[1][2] South Campus currently houses the School of Architecture and Planning, the School of Dental Medicine, the School of Nursing, the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the School of Public Health and Health Professions.

Constructed in 1933, Abbott Hall is home to the Health Sciences Library.[3] It was the original home to the Lockwood Memorial Library.[4]

Allen Hall

Allen Hall, constructed in 1956, is one of the newer buildings on South Campus.[5] It is located on the north edge of campus. It was originally built as a home for the Department of Music; it now serves as an administrative office building.[6]
