Mrs. Rich's Corner Cafe was a small food spot in the Natural Science Complex that provided hot pre-made food, sandwiches, and drinks. It closed during the COVID-19 pandemic and has seen been replaced with Bull on the Run.
Overview
While specific dates cannot be found, Mrs. Rich's Cafe opened in the mid-2000s. The menu provided plenty of options to students as well as (once upon a time) fresh cinammon rolls. The highlight of Mrs. Rich's Cafe was pre-made hot food that students could grab quickly on their way to classes. This was also once provided by Capen Cafe, but the service has since stopped. Unfortunately, the open nature of the food spot and displays blocking views from the register led to plenty of students stealing, causing damage to the business.
Closure & Replacement
Unfortunately, like many campus dining facilities, Mrs. Rich's Corner Cafe closed during the COVID-19 pandemic and did not re-open. In November 2023, it was replaced by Bulls on the Run, which offers similar grab-and-go food as Capen Cafe.
