UB Spiderman is the name given to an individual (or series of individuals) who became a beloved fixture on campus by dressing up in a Spider-Man costume and interacting with students. The "UB Spider-Man" phenomenon began in the late 2010s. By 2018-2019, sightings of a student in a full Spider-Man suit roaming UB's North Campus were being gleefully reported on social media and in the campus newspaper.
